Started in 2012 on the beautiful Warner family farm, with no idea what they were getting themselves into. They began with the things that matter most and a dream to save the world from mediocre gin. they ended up stripping the industry back to its roots and became gin farmers.
They draw water from their own spring, grow the botanicals, and collect fresh honey from their own beehives. They try to keep things local and, as custodians of the land, they harvest with a respect for nature and the community. As they go, they try to give back more than they take: re-sow, replant, rebuild.
Released in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society to protect our pollinators, Warner's Honeybee Gin is crafted with 28 botanicals, including lavender, rose and a dollop of honey from the farm’s own beehives. Each bottle of Honeybee Gin comes with a packet of wildflower seeds so that you can plant your own bee-friendly garden and help to save the bees. If you’re new to gardening and not sure how to plant your seeds, don’t worry: watch this Easy Guide to Planting video here.
A complex floral bouquet on the nose with sweet honey and subtle spice. The palate is soft and creamy with lavender, rose and hints of grapefruit giving it a little zest. The finish is smooth and enduring with the dry-sweet spice of juniper and elderflower followed by lingering honey.
For a perfect G&T, serve Honeybee Gin with a Mediterranean tonic water, garnish with a slice of lemon or fresh sage leaves.
