Description

Details

A locally distilled and bottled artisan gin, incorporating some of Leeds’ and Yorkshire’s finest botanical ingredients made to our own recipe. Of course, there’s also the little bit of northern magic that makes this particular gin, truly memorable.

Leeds Gin is handmade in a traditional copper alembic still yielding just 35 litres with each run – it’s a small but perfectly formed batch.
The first batch of LEEDS GIN went on sale in March 2016 and is distilled under the watchful eye and skilful handiwork of Sara Birkinshaw. Trying to keep things as local as possible, Sara has successfully sourced the finest Yorkshire forced rhubarb from E. Oldroyd’s in Leeds and has freeze-dried it to ensure the same wonderful taste of Leeds Gin can be enjoyed all year round.

Having dedicated many years seeking out her ideal gin in the fantastic gin bars of Palma, London and New York, Sara feels she has truly created a gin that Leeds and indeed, the whole of the region, can be proud of! As proof of this ‘The Gin Festival’ voted Leeds gin the number one new gin of 2016!
