Portobello Road Local Hero's #3
£47.99

The third edition of Portobello Road's Local Heroes series is a collaboration with none other than Mark Knopfler, legendary frontman of the Dire Straits! Knopfler is a former Notting Hill local, and worked with the brand to add lime zest, fresh cucumber peel and olive oil to the original gin's nine botanicals. The label artwork was designed with Knopfler's passion for guitars in mind. If that wasn't enough, as a nod to the days when Knopfler would sport a headband during his live performances, each gin comes with its own miniature red headband around the bottle neck. Adorable.

A full and creamy mouthfeel, prominent flavourful spice and heat perfectly balanced by crisp juniper and cucumber coolness and freshness.

Details

This gin was created by Leeds bartending legend Jake Burger (anyone been to Jake's bar on Call Lane?) by the award-wining Notting Hill bar, Portobello Star, home of the Ginsitute. This is a place where one can learn an awful lot about gin.
