Bodegas San Alejandro have devoted all of their efforts in elaborating wines that inspire and delight the people for more than 50 years.
Their success is helped by having a terroir so privileged and a team of professionals so highly qualified and mad about wine.
Bodegas San Alejandro was founded in 1962 in Miedes of Aragon (Zaragoza), in a privileged location for the culture of the grapevine, the altitude of its vineyards, the rigor of the climate, the slow ripeness of its grapes, the diversity of its soils and multiple singularities composed by its terroir.
Named after Pablo Picasso, the eye-catching label is in homage to the revered artist and this effortlessly drinkable wine won Bronze at the 2013 Sommelier Wine Awards.
Made in the mountain vineyards of Calatayud on 100-year-old vines, this delicious, medium-bodied Garnacha boasts luscious blackberry fruit flavours intertwined with smoke, spice and dark chocolate undertones. Supple tannins on a well-balanced palate are supported by a richly lingering finish.
