Dry farmed Carignan from vineyards nestled into Curico's coastal mountains. Lucha Rocosa means rocky struggle and refers to the vines struggle to find water and minerals in dry conditions.
Made with Carignan grapes from unirrigated vineyards nestled into Curico's coastal mountains. Blended with 15% Grenache to flesh out the Carignan and give it some juiciness.
An edgy wine, with good acidity and tannins but also has a lovely purity of blackberry and mulberry fruit. It has a long, fresh finish leaving you wanting more!
This needs to be paired with gutsy, rustic food - cassoulet, slow-cooked shoulder of lamb with herbs and garlic or spicy bean casserole.
