Made by Bergaglio Cinzia in the Commune di Tassarolo, which lies within the DOCG area of Gavi, in Piedmonte, Italy. The la Fornace Gavi is made from 100% Cortese grape, slow fermented with selected yeast in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Really fresh and floral, clean with a pleasant aftertaste of toasted almond and hints of apple and sage. Gavi can be drunk on its own or with a variety of seafood dishes such as stuffed squid, salad of baby octopus or steamed sea bream.
